Welwyn Garden City is a town in the district of Welwyn Hatfield in Hertfordshire, England. It is located about 20 miles (32 km) Kings Cross. Welwyn Garden City was the second Garden City in England (founded 1920) and one of the first new towns (appointed 1948).

It is unique in being both a city garden and a new city and reflect the ideals of physical planning, social and cultural periods is built. Because of its historical significance, attracting visitors from around the world.

Welwyn Garden City was founded by Sir Ebenezer Howard in 1920 after his previous experience in Letchworth Garden City. There are three golf courses: Panshanger owned and operated by the City Council, Mill green golf course located in Gypsy Lane Welwyn Garden City and Golf Club, including Nick Faldo, who was once a member. Park and Stanborough Lakes was the scene of an annual carnival of free water and fireworks and fireworks on November 5, which attracted large crowds from great distances.
