Kingsbury is an area in the London Borough of Brent, northwest London. The name Kingsbury means "The King's Manor".

Kingsbury has historically been a small church has hundreds of Gore and Province of Middlesex. Until the nineteenth century was largely the sparsely populated rural areas. Oliver Goldsmith lived in the Hyde Farm Kingsbury 1771-1774. David William Murray, third Earl of Mansfield was buried in the cemetery of St. Andrea in 1840.

Although it was close to London, the development started slowly and only after the First World War that the neighborhood was built. An aviation industry has been created in the side aerdrome Hendon Kingsbury during the war, roads were improved to meet the Wembley British Empire Exhibition nearby in 1924. [1] The number of inhabited houses in the Parish has increased by only 140 in 1901 to 3,937 in 1931. In 1951 this figure had risen to 11,776. [2] Between 1921 and 1931 the population increased by 796% Kingsbury [1].

Experimental transmissions of John Logie Baird United Kingdom Berlin, Germany was broadcast by the stables of Kingsbury Manor now the Veterans Club in Roe Green Park.

From 1923 to 1979 Kingsbury Road was the Vanden Plas workplace specialist motor body, the body responsible for Bentley and a game later in Austin, BMC and British Leyland. The site is now Kingsbury Trading Estate.

In 1894, Kingsbury was the city of Wembley. However, as has been Kingsbury Urban District Council, only three of nine delegates Wembley, Kingsbury Board of Governors believes that the region needs is the act itself.
