Balham is a southern suburb of London, England, and part of the London Borough of Wandsworth.

The settlement appears in the Domesday Book as Belgeham. He was tried by Geoffrey Orlateile. Its Domesday assets were: 1 ½ plow, 8 acres (32,000 m2) in a meadow.
